TheDroid 13th Aug 2018		Vinyl Album Zuider Zee - Zuider Zee (1975)	Apparent mislabeling on the stock label here. For some reason "Zuid" was added before the band name. There are also promotional examples of the labels reading "Zuider Lee" perhaps in confusion from the front cover graphics (?). This is a pretty nice pop-rock album that was overlooked in its' day. There is a nice 2 page article on Zuider Zee in the September 2018 issue of Goldmine.

TheDroid 13th Aug 2018		Vinyl Album Frank Zappa - Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar (1981)	The first of 3 Barking Pumpkin mail-order issues for USA, with music transcript offer on inner sleeve. Both sides of the sleeve are identical. The titles of the other two mail-order albums are "Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar Some More" and "Return Of The Son Of Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar". All three LP's were packaged into a box set the next year.

TheDroid 11th Aug 2018		Vinyl Album Yardbirds - Yardbirds On Down (1974)	Although not technically a total Yardbirds bootleg album, with several tracks from Jeff Beck Group and Keith Relf, it is generally regarded as such and thus I have entered it as so. The label is a faded backwards printing of the label to The Honey Drippers 1973 single "Impeach The President" http://www.45cat.com/record/al1017. Also see 2051.

TheDroid 11th Aug 2018		Vinyl Album The Yardbirds - More Golden Eggs (1974)	Lee - Yeah, it is nearly impossible to discern which came first the birds or the eggs (LOL) on most bootlegs unless you have studied them and possess a lot of copies and/or knowledge. Matrix numbers were often reused even if a different outfit was issuing the boot. My copy would have also been purchased probably right around late 70's to 1980. But the are often fun to have as obscure entities periodically turned up over the years.
TheDroid 11th Aug 2018		Vinyl Album Eric Clapton And The Yardbirds With Sonny Boy Williamson - Eric Clapton And The Yardbirds Live With Sonny Boy Williamson (II) (1970)	Once again Mercury Records went with a band photo that includes Jeff Beck who would not join The Yardbirds for more than a year after this was recorded. Perhaps there is no photo of the Eric Clapton era Yardbirds performing with Sonny Boy Williamson? An Australian release (Philips ‎– 6460 160. Not yet on the site) has a cover photo of them both together, but it is probably an edited picture.

Ironic that Jeff Beck is pictured on the cover as he would not join The Yardbirds until March 1965 and this concert was recorded December 8, 1963. Two tracks, "Take It Easy Baby" and "Do the Weston" are sometimes attributed to a December 7th test recording date.
