TOKENHIPPIE 22nd Jul 2017		Vinyl Album The Buckinghams - Kind Of A Drag (1967)	The ultimate prize of this album is finding the 13 track lp with I'm a Man as the extra track. Had a chance to see a water damaged cover of this lp in Denver Colorado for 75 bucks in the mid 80's. it's an extreme rarity. 13 tracks were listed on the cover whether the vinyl lp had all tracks I don't know.

I'm up on my variations on all things Capitol and Reprise, not so much on Caribou. It looks like telew has a different variation on side two from side one . checkm has the same on both labels.

TOKENHIPPIE 27th Jun 2016		Vinyl Album The Yardbirds - Over, Under, Sideways, Down (1966)	This Capitol 6000 Series album Over Under Sideways Down has two extra tracks. the Nazz are Blue and Rack my Mind with Shapes of Things instead of Jeff's Boogie on the US Epic Lp.

TOKENHIPPIE 27th Jun 2016		Vinyl Album The Yardbirds - Heart Full Of Soul (1965)	This is the equivalent of the USA Epic album For Your Love. there's one extra track on the Canadian LP and one different song. Heart full of Soul the title track and Steeled Blues. The Epic album has Sweet Music. For some reason the Canadian release came 3 months after the American issue, which would explain why Heart Full of Soul the current single at the time would be the headliner on the Lp.
TOKENHIPPIE 25th Jun 2016		Vinyl Album The Beach Boys - Smiley Smile (1967)	I added a green border on the front cover it's the bottom part of album. the first one i added has a greyish border on the bottom. there's also a black border one. It looks like Canada used the USA front slick and Xeroxed the back cover in black and white it was much cheaper than colour.
TOKENHIPPIE 25th Jun 2016		Vinyl Album The Beach Boys - Smiley Smile (1967)	You'll note on the front cover on the bottom left corner the Capitol logo is covering the Brother logo on the USA copy. and on the back cover there are black deletions where the USA copy mentions Brother in the bottom left corner and in the middle there's a black deletion where the manufactured in US would be and the cities Jacksonville, LA, etc.... the US sent Canada the Brother LP covers and Canada blacked out the US references including the Brother logo except the ST 9001, Which is probably why Canada used the label # in the States. Capitol of Canada could not use their own Capitol 6000 series because they were using the USA's album cover. it would've looked to messy blacking out all references relating to the States and adding Capitol of Canada's numbering system.

I'm a little late in responding but it states T 1998 instead of the St 1998 along the side of the Litho'd in USA

TOKENHIPPIE 7th Feb 2015		Vinyl Album The Beach Boys - The Beach Boys Deluxe Set (1967)	the labels are the same as the Mono albums from Today, Summer days, and Pet Sounds. Capitol Distributed T 2269, T 2354, & T 2458. This was one way to get rid of the Mono surplus stock Capitol had in its' inventory. Mono box set has a black spine as shown in the above image.

Brian would go back into the studio and redo some of the vocals on certain songs. I guess I get Around wasn't ready yet when the initial pressings were issued. But subsequent pressings have the redone vocals
TOKENHIPPIE 20th Sep 2014		Vinyl Album The Beach Boys - Good Vibrations (1970)	GOOD VIBES REC CLUB has a white border around the album cover. the regular issue is all black. i scanned the spine it shows DT 80442 . this was a sealed copy for at least 25 yrs. i finally opened it. Oh my goodness I can hear these American collectors clutching their chest at the mere thought of opening a sealed album from the 60's or 70's i had to find it for sure if the label was green or burnt orange. as You can see it's the lime one. I hope all you American collectors have recovered from such a horrifying thought of opening a sealed album.
