Bob Dylan - Tough Songs (1979)
Were sides 1 and 2 really at the Royal Albert Hall, or were they the Manchester Free Trade Hall?

T. Rex - Times They Are Strange (2019)
I think we should put a space between the full-stop and the R in T.Rex - on this album, and the few others like it, so they all link up with the T. Rex discography.

Haven't got time right this second. What do others think?

Ultimate Spinach - Ultimate Spinach (2018)
Is the image really of a 2018 LP? Looks aged.

Wings - Wild Life (2018)
We normally go by the label rather than the spine. That just says Wings.

George Harrison - Extra Texture (1975)
Hi Phantom. Good review. You didn't mention my favourite on the whole album - World of Stone. Has something of a Long Long Long flavour to it, for me.

[no artist listed] - Top Of The Pops: Vol. 92 (1985)
Number 1 in today's top 50!

The Beatles - Anthology 1 (1995)
Don't think so, bud. Christmas 95 was the correct time, and I also remember it. I moved house in 95 and it was definitely after the move. Free as a Bird released on single at the same time.

The Beatles - Sessions (1986)
So this is the well-known 'Sessions' album, but with the tracks re-ordered chronologically. I think it's probably better for it.

John Martyn - One World (1986)
My initiation into John Martyn was Solid Air which I consider to be one of the best albums of the 1970s, if not, of all time. Others I've tried (and wanted to like) have disappointed. This is one of them. I bought it last weekend and have played it through four or five times. It just doesn't 'grab' me. That said, I think this is a fabulous track:

The Beatles - 1967-1970 [The Blue Album] (1973)
So, "Ballad of John and Yoko" was banned in Spain - instead, they used "One After 909" on this LP!

Peter And Gordon - In Touch With Peter And Gordon (1964)
You don't see phone boxes like that anymore. Even the telephone directories are intact.

Klaus Wunderlich - Hammond Pops 7 (1972)
Klaus is looking very well, in his white T-shirt.

Ringo Starr - Blast From Your Past (1981)
Interesting that when mfp re-issued both Ringo and George's greatest hits albums, they chose to use their White Album portraits on the front, which, of course, pre-date their solo careers. (OK, pedants, I know about Wonderwall, and I know George's LP had some Beatles songs on!). Anyway, a strange option, me thinks.

Vinyl Album
Mick Abrahams - Mick Abrahams (1971)
I would add, it's not really a white background (at least, that's not how I see it). It's no background at all - just the label and nothing else.

The Beatles - The John Barrett Tapes
Indeed - corrected! Thanks for flagging it up.

Although credited to the Beatles in this LP, there is a version of Get Back by George, from his solo sessions. Interesting that he'd sing a Lennon-McCartney song with particularly unpleasant associations (George actually walked out of the band during the Get Back sessions).

Vinyl Album
The Beatles - The John Barrett Tapes
Beatles fans will know about the John Barrett tapes. He copies material from the EMI tapes during a reaearch project, and rather naughtily made copies of a good many tracks for himself.

Other bootlegs from the same source run to as many as five CD, plus a good copy of one of the Glyn Johns Get Back acetates. This LP contains only 14 cuts.

The Incredible String Band - The 5000 Spirits Or The Layers Of The Onion (1967)
More label scans added. Text appears to be a hybrid of the other two examples, with elements from each.

The Soft Boys - A Can Of Bees (1980)
Nice. Never seen this before. The tracks match the second of the three UK editions, also from 1980.

Paul And Linda McCartney - Ram (1971)
I always dismissed this as another somewhat pointless piece of McCartney doodling. But I played it again today, and was blown away.

Janis Ian - Between The Lines (1975)
cwilight - I've just bought a copy on Ebay, based on your review. If it's rubbish, I'm holding you responsible!

Bob Dylan - Great White Wonder (1970)
I suspect that bootleggers will have bootlegged the original bootleg - so a given copy of this (with practically no identifying features) could originate from almost anywhere. My copy has somewhat thick card on the sleeve, more like 60s US albums than UK, but who knows?

Good point. Country changed to bootleg. Actual country is hard to say but I would guess USA.

Burt Bacharach - Make It Easy On Yourself (1970)
Added: variant label scans. A few minor differences, but most notcieably, no 'Trademark' information above the catalogue number.

Bob Dylan - Great White Wonder (1970)
Listed as Bob Dylan (for it is he) but technically should be [no artist listed]. If anyone has more info about this, please add. Hardly anything seems to be known for sure.

Back up to number 3 this morning. This is like "Sgt Pepper" all over again!

Vinyl Album
Marvin Gaye - Marvin Gaye (1964)
Track B5 inexplicably covered by Paul Young in 1983 - and hit number 1 in the UK charts. Who'd have seen that coming?

The Beatles - The Beatles [The White Album] (1968)
I think this is the unusual (some would say legendary) pressing whereby John's lead vocal in the final part of "Happiness is a Warm Gun" was mixed very low, much quieter than the (so-called) backing vocals.
