vidman45 24th May 2017		Vinyl Album Jimmie Rodgers - 15 Million Sellers	And you mis-spelled his last name on this posting. It is RODGERS (not Rogers). There have been several different artists with this name, and this adds to the confusion. The spelling is correct on the front and back cover.

vidman45 6th Jul 2016		Vinyl Album Rick Nelson - For You (1963)	A correction should be made to the title of this album because there were two different LP's issued at about the same time with the same title. Correct title for this Decca album is RICK NELSON SINGS "FOR YOU" (with the song title in quotes). Nelson's former label, Imperial, also released an album titled RICK NELSON SINGS FOR YOU (no quotation marks) (Imperial SE LP12251) to confuse buyers into buying their collection of older Nelson material. The hit song "For You" was not on the Imperial LP. The Imperial LP did not chart, and I don't see it posted here yet. The Decca LP was released on 4 January, 1964 and reached #14 on the Billboard album charts. Chart run 22 weeks. Moderator please make changes.

vidman45 7th Jan 2016		Vinyl Album Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs - Li'l Red Riding Hood (1966)	I remember some of those MGM LP's proclaiming "Sounds Great In Stereo", but when you get them home, all or most of the tracks are MONO or Re-channeled. MGM should have been taken to court for false claims to charge an extra dollar. Is the title song in stereo?
vidman45 31st Dec 2015		Vinyl Album Billy Vaughn And His Orchestra - The Golden Instrumentals (1956)	Originally issued in 1956 in mono only on maroon label with silver print. Stereo version (DLP 25016) issued in 1959 with all new recordings. The mono LP shown here appears to be a 1959 re-issue.

vidman45 24th May 2015		Vinyl Album The Casinos - The Casinos (1967)	Sorry, but this is a stereo copy. It plays in true stereo, and has "Stereo" printed in the top-left corner of the front cover, and has "LPS 1019" at the top of the spine. Fraternity must have used mono labels on my copy, but scratched in the dead was it says "F-LP-1019-AS / XSBV127719-1D" (side A matrix#) and the presser's initials: JMW.

I have cropped and stitched the correct mono cover and added it. If you, or another mod moves it to the top, please do the same with the mono front cover of the Sealed With A Kiss album which I added long ago. thx
vidman45 2nd May 2015		Vinyl Album Original Broadway Cast - Hair (1968)	Added back cover scan containing much info on this classic Broadway show. Album charted on the Billboard album charts for 151 weeks, peaking at #1 for13 weeks and became a Grammy Award winner.
vidman45 2nd May 2015		Vinyl Album The Beatles - 1967-1970 [The Blue Album] (1978)	I can't believe that no one has added this U.S. 1978 blue vinyl double LP yet. I searched the site, and could not find it, so I scanned and added it.
vidman45 1st May 2015		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Ten Golden Years: Great Motion Picture Themes And Original Soundtracks (1968)	I own the missing USA pressing of this album and the gatefold cover. It contains all of the tracks shown above, but the Canadian sides C and D are sides A and B on the US version, and vice-versa. Both US discs use the Cat# UXS 68 (A,B,C,D). I am hesitant to add the US version because of all of the time it would involve for just 1 lousy point. I wish this site gave extra points for adding multi-disc, gatefold covers, extra tracks, etc. They are so much more work than items such as a magazine cover or a concert ticket.

vidman45 27th Apr 2015		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - A Canadian Tribute (1978)	The embossed gold title on the front cover was hard to scan. I had to over-brighten the whole image for it to show up at all. Same problem with the gold sticker on the front shrink wrap. I ended up scanning it separately.

vidman45 22nd Apr 2015		Vinyl Album Tab Hunter - The Story Of Rock 'n' Roll (1977)	I have added cover and label scans. This was a re-issue of Tab's 1961 US Dot LP "Young Love". It contains re-recorded stereo versions of tracks A1, A2, and A3 and is mastered too fast. This German re-issue was part of a series "The Story Of Rock And Roll" that featured LPs by over 20 U.S. acts. See back cover.

vidman45 21st Apr 2015		Vinyl Album Richard Chamberlain - "Twilight Of Honor" Original Sound Track Recordings Of Instrumental Music By Johnny Green (1963)	I added scans for LouisSidney's item. This LP is difficult to classify. 4 instrumental songs from the soundtrack of a Richard Chamberlain film, 6 movie themes by various artists, and 2 vocals by Chamberlain. I bought this album to get the 2 Chamberlain songs in stereo, but they are mono on this album. I already had them on a mono 45.

This double LP honors Ray Charles for 25 years of recordings, with songs from Atlantic and ABC records. My album cover is a bit worn.
