Erroll Garner was a renowned jazz pianist and composer who was famous for his ballads and playing swing. His best composition was that of Misty, which became a huge successful tune of Johnny Mathis in 1959. Furthermore, Lloyd Price had popularized "Misty" in 1963 by means of a live recording in concert.
Garner's first recordings, which were made in the apartment of Timme Rosenkrantz, were issued in the formation of five-volume discs of the entitled Overture To Dawn series by means of the Blue Note label.
Though Erroll Garner had endured much success a solo performer, he also achieved fame when he performed in his early years of music with his two brothers Ernest And Linton in the Erroll Garner Trio.
