BEATLEJOHN 24th Aug 2017
| | Here's a reason why it shouldn't be entered this way...most US Lp's are pressed by various pressing plants...different pressing plants can use a different order of side sequencing!..Some may use a 1/4 - 2/3 sequence...while others may use a 1/2 - 3/4 sequence....(it gets even more interesting with additional records!) Locking in the side/disc order is pointless if somebody else pops up with an alternatively pressed album....this should be stopped now, leaving the side/track order is fine, if you know the pressing plant, adding a side/disc order in the comments is fine....John |

Why ???. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's a duck. If i were entering this today that's how I would do it, are you telling me you would then take the decision to change it. It is what it is

Disc 2 Side 2
Disc 2 Side 3

| | @ The Droid, I understand fully where you're coming from but I still say that re-ordering them needs to have the SECTIONBREAK included ie
Disc 1 Side 1
Disc 2 Side 2
Disc 2 Side 3
Disc 1 Side 4
That way people will still know that the disc was produced that way to suit an autochange turntable |

| | I understand your comment Quad5point, however, the albums song sequence, as listed on the back cover and on the gatefold put them in the order that was intended for listening purposes. I believe that is the correct order to list the release and is consistent with most entries on both 45worlds and 45cat (many EP's). The label images will show the disc side pairings, along with any comments to clarify that in the notes.
As scratchy45 points out, and I did on my original comment, there is the original label issue already on the site. My copy of this is the "box" and includes the 32 page booklet mostly shown here. These two should be merged together. |

| | Aside from questions of autochanger disc ordering, there is another entry here for 2T-522 showing a different (original?) label design, listed with same cat# & territory but with "double LP" format.
The original lister made no mention of box (though a later contributor of scans added one). I also have this release with the "plain" label design in a box (with box corner clipped for cut-out, rather than clip-hole). This too has "1-4" "2-3" autochanger ordering for disc sides.
I think these two should probably become one, though I appreciate it could become a messy
task. |

| | Taken in the context of Disc 1 and Disc 2 the tracks are in the right order though. The only thing needing done is to SECTIONBREAK them with Side 1, Side 4, Side 2 & Side 3. SECTIONBREAK wasn't around when entered |

TheDroid 17th Aug 2017
| | The songs here are mis-listed. The album sides sequenced with side one and four on first LP, while sides two and three were on the second LP. "The End" by London Symphony Orchestra should be the last track listed.
Also this is already listed with original label issue here 2T-522 and should be merged together. |

| | I just read that this album will be issued as a double CD on 20 January, 2015. I pulled out my deluxe double LP, which I bought as a cut-out. I wish the reissuers better luck with their CD's.
With a nod to RPFiller for adding this album, I have added some stitched scans. There is too much in the album box to scan everything - 36 page book, gatefold inner sleeve, labels, etc. |
