Notes

This second Atco disc of Nina Moller and Frederik van Pallandt featured the six tunes of the first side that were of the Soundtrack of “Formula For Love” which was a film in which Nina and Frederik wanted to establish and operate a jazz club. Even though this was a big challenge for Ms. Moller and Mr. van Pallandt, Mr. Louis Armstrong took some time to help them open this club. Accordingly, this jazz club became so prosperous that Ms. Moller and Mr. van Pallandt ultimately fell in love with one another.

In the Formula For Love film, Mr. Louis Armstrong is the guest artist who had played the trumpet and had co-sung his self-penned tune, which was called “Struttin’ With Some Barbecue” with Velma Middleton.

The six tunes of the second side were collections of songs, such as My Home Town, Carnival, Bury Me Where She Passes By and Maladie D’Amour. This Atco disc of 33.33 rpm was first issued by means of a yellow background label that had a black harp drawing and Atco in large white block letters.
