Doug Fowlkes and the Airdales was a rock group that was active during the early 1960s. Even though this group is almost unknown to the post baby boom generation, Mr. Fowlkes was an inspiration that had led Charles “Rocky” Roberts to pursue a career in professionally singing.

This was the only Atco disc of 33.33 of the Airdales that was issued and despite the fact that this Atco disc did not sell well, Mr. Fowlkes had composed three songs, which were Airdale Walk, Twistin’ Time and Midnight in Paris.
