| | Probably a re-issue from '80. Suggest you make a new entry for it. |

| | My copy has catalogue number K 20023 and is in stereo. The track listing is the same. The record label says published 1968 but the back cover has 1980. |

| | I'll have to dig this out and replay it. I last played mine in the early eighties and do remember it having sound issue of some sort, a bit echoey (not a real word I know!) But perhaps it's time for a revisit (definitely still have it). |

| | @dezwarteschijf … From what I recall when I bought this in '69 it retailed at 14/6 (Fourteen Shillings and Six Pence or 72p in the soon to be adopted Decimal money). That was very much at the budget end of the market as standard LPs were retailing at around 25 or 30 shillings. To put it into context this would have cost less than two 45RPM singles, whereas a typical LP would cost the equivalent of three or four singles. Maybe somebody out there has more precise information about what cost what in 68/9.
I don't remember the sound on the copy I bought being particularly bad, though I didn't have a very good quality record player that might have made any inadequacies obvious. Maybe your copy had just been played a lot?? |

- well there's your problem - it sounded great on the first couple of hundred plays on a dansette...°
° - and i s'pose it mayn't've helped the last fifty having been using the 78 side of the cartridge, neither |

| | ReviewToday I bought this album at my local second hand stuff store ..
Listening to it it sounded very very muffled on a modern stereo player at my home, after recording and putting the album back in its original Mono it sounded a little bit better but not a whole much better.
If you listen carefully through a headphone you can hear the bad way of production.
Atlantic didn't put a whole lot of effort to make this album a great sounding one, this must have been a very low budget one in 1968.
If I knew it sounded that bad I would not have bought it.
