RocknRollArchivist 6th Nov 2014		Mac-Kac (sounds as "Macaque"): Jean-Baptiste Reilles (1920-1987), a French jazz drummer, was a first creator of the original French rock and roll (together with Sacha Distel), at the latest in May 1956 (i.e. just before the well-known "Henry Cording and His Original Rock and Roll Boys" invented in June 1956 by the team Boris Vian/Henri Salvador/Michel Legrand and claimed to be a pioneer). Curiously, both teams, too close to jazz, represented Rock & Roll as a comic genre: see the titles. Not yet issued on CD. A unique album for Rock and Roll collectors.
