ReviewThis was an "in-between" kind of a release. Just following the Save The Last Dance For Me album, which was also a compilation of recent singles. In fact all their albums except The Good Life were entirely compiled from singles. (This doesn't make them all "compilations").
It was time for a new album because of new singles like A1, A6, B2. Five songs are repeated from the Last Dance LP. Others are B sides and older singles going all the way back to 1958 with Ruby Baby.
Me being in that generation, I knew their 60s hits but knew nothing of those 50s songs, which had not been general hits really. Those did not make the album more appealing. So it was far inferior to the Last Dance album.
None feature Clyde McPhatter, altho some from the 50s have leads who sound like him.
