PhilMH 30th Aug 2022		Probably is a duel citizen, Lee - going by the inner ring, which looks the same as a Pointer Sisters album on RCA from about the same period which has EMIDISC in the runouts, I think this would be an EMI pressing; PolyGram still used other factories at that time as well as their own Miramar, Wellington facility (sometimes even Festival, which can be recognised by the SMX-nnnnn matrix numbers on each label), and Discogs has this one as "Australasia" with no separate NZ pressing in sight, so it's highly probable that this was for both countries.



78rpm-maniac 30th Aug 2022		Yes, can be true fact, that the Australasian pressings are made for the sale in both Australia and New Zealand. The Dire Straits singles differ in case of the label-layout from Australia and New Zealand.



Lee Wrecker 12th Apr 2016		Just wondering if this Dire Straights album is a duel citizen. It is a made in Australia copy but prior to this in the mid 80's their albums were made in New Zealand and sold in both Australia and NZ. Is the reverse true in this case?
