Added original issue front and back cover images. Also added inner sleeve and label images. When this album started taking off, RCA re-mixed and re-released it with the more familiar sepia-toned cover photo, which has been moved from the back of the album to the front. Also the inner sleeve photo of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge has been colorized and become the back album cover (although it still remains on the inner sleeve also). Supposedly the original pressing contains slightly different versions of "Down the Road Tonight" and "The River Runs Low," but I cannot confirm that as I don't own the second pressing version.
This album spawned three hit singles: "The Way It Is" (#1), "Mandolin Rain" (#4) and "Every Little Kiss" (#14). {All are from Billboard Hot 100 chart} Additionally, "Every Little Kiss" had previously charted at #72 before being remixed and re-released. The album itself reached #3 on the album chart.
