The original Joe Jackson Band features Joe Jackson on vocals, piano, harmonica and melodica, Gary Sanford on guitar, Graham Maby on bass and vocals and Dave Houghton on drums and vocals.
All tracks are arranged by Joe Jackson (with some help from the band) and produced by David Kershenbaum (with some help from Joe). The album was recorded at TW Studios, London, UK and mixed at Eden Studios, also London, UK. Front cover photo by Bruce Rae, inner sleeve photos by Sheila Rock.

i bought this record as an import in Germany in late 1979 or early 1980 (basically because the European pressing was sold out) and it became my first Joe Jackson record. It has the labels with the edge text, that were recently added by Plaatjeman.
