| | I just read when Bell started its new LP series in 1966, albums on Amy and Mala were discontinued in favour of all albums being issued on the parent Bell label. By late 1969, the owner stopped issuing 45s on Amy, and quietly folded it back into the parent company, Bell. By November 1974, various Columbia legacy labels - like Bell Records - changed into a new entity named Arista Records. In early 1975, most of the artists who had been signed to Bell were let go.
I may be wrong, but I think this was pressed late 1960s and before 1974. Discogs do not show a date and an Internet search found nothing.
I do not own this LP and hopefully George can find those etched matrix numbers. |

| | P.S. on the other hand, this could be a 1990's Scorpio reissue, legitimacy licensed, and the ones I have don't have barcodes added to the covers. Check for etched matrix numbers similar to S-xxxxx in the deadwax. |

| | Bell Records, Inc.became Arista Records,Inc. in 1974/75, and then adopted completely different catalogue numbering systems, and anything else reissued from Bell-Amy-Mala used the new label and the new numbering. If this is 1980's/1990's, then I have my doubts as to its legitimacy, especially as there's no barcode, which almost every US record company had by 1982. |

| | Are you sure this was pressed around 1980 - 1990? The catalogue # AMY-8008 is the same as their Harlem Nocturne album released Dec 1965, which adds to the confusion.
It looks like The Viscounts may have disbanded in 1967. At leased that was when their last single was released on Coral: A: Sweet Georgia Brown B: Moonlight In Vermont. |

| | Contains the short hit version of Harlem Nocturne, same recording on Madison and Amy.
Night Train is the 1965 Amy recording, different from Madison 1960.
A compilation around 1980s or 90s after Bell became owner. |
