OldMod67 8th Jul 2020		@JamesTrash. Yeah It was definitely delayed and being trailed in the November modzine. Having now realised I'd taped my copy 4.12.86, November seems correct. Always thought Artpop! was a cool label and the numbering a nice quirk, same with the singles.
JamesTrash 8th Jul 2020		Music Master says November 1986 for 'Enjoy' and April 1986 for 'Up Against It'. MM is not always 100% accurate but if they are wrong the correct date is usually earlier. Never noticed until now that Artpop! sequenced their catalogue numbers in reverse.
OldMod67 7th Jul 2020		Further to my comment, whilst on furlough inspired rummage I found one of my many cassettes that I used to record for playing on train journeys etc in the 80s. It featured latest two Times albums, Up Against It and Enjoy. I'd even been efficient and noted my recording date on my glorious old Akai system: 4.12.86 Still doesn't solve my 2-87 inner sleeve though, or perhaps I've just read too much into this...?
OldMod67 12th May 2020		Side One run out : THANK YOU FOR HAVING US..... Side Two run out : BUT NOW WE MUST GO. I also saw this on sale in London, after I had mine, with a sleeve sticker noting the Frank Summit saga. Tracklist as label & sleeve. On vinyl, Think Big! is A5 At the time of this album's release I was convinced it was going to be their last, as apart from tying up the Frank Summit series the L.P. seemed quite 'final'; even referencing their first single on the album's closing song. The Times did resume record releases later on though. I've also entered 1986 as the release date, which is on the cover and label and every site I've seen it on. A November '86 issue of In The Crowd stated it 'should have appeared by the time you read this'. I was always quite 'up' on the band, but my white inner is dated 2-87 printwise, so I'm no longer sure. Perhaps a Times collector can clarify this please?
