A rare mail-order album issued by Adam VIII consisting of rough mixes of John Lennon's Rock'N'Roll album. It was available through television sale in the USA for three days in January 1975 before Lennon and Apple/EMI pulled it off the market. Apple then rush-released Lennon's "official" version in February 1975. For more on this see here.

robozuc 20th Oct 2016		I apologize for the misunderstanding, but I had many doubts about cutting images especially in the front cover but undoubtedly the quality of your images is better ... even excuses.
TheDroid 20th Oct 2016		I am baffled why the recent cover images I submitted have been hidden, particularly the back cover which is much clearer to read? I thought the idea of 45worlds was to provide the best representation of the records listed therein. Is there a moderator bias here?

TopPopper 30th Oct 2013		Wouldn't this be classed as a boot? If Lennon/Apple/EMI pulled it, it must have been unlicensed.
JPGR&B SUBS 30th Oct 2013		According to wikipedia, with only 3,000 copies of Roots reportedly pressed, original copies are rare and are sought-after collector's items. Copies in mint condition have sold for US$2,000. I purchased mine back in 1978, but don't recall whether it was from a record shop in Bournemouth (Dorset, UK) - my usual record purchasing habit at the time - or whether I obtained it through mail order. The latter I guess.
