Madame Streggae 16th Sep 2023		Trojan didn't seem to be bothered about crediting these tracks to their respective artists on this compilation (which is really what it was) and just brigaded them under Clancy Eccles' name when in fact only A5 was by him. So, in addition to that one I'm now adding the missing details for the rest which are taken from Trojan's CD reissue of the original album: Tracks A1, A6, B1, B2, B3 and B6 are by Winston Wright Track A2 and B5 are by the Dynamites Track A3 is by Joe Higgs Tracks A4 is by Higgs and Wilson Track B4 is by Lord Creator The division of the Winston Wright and Dynamites tracks is a bit of a misnomer since the Dynamites would have been on all the tracks credited to him. As for the album, I'm at a loss to explain why the company went to the trouble of putting out what were leftover tracks from Clancy's 1970 catalogue, and by the time it appeared he was pretty much out of the production game anyway. The only high points are 'Captivity' and 'Nyah Rock', there are some other pleasant numbers which were mainly versions of vocal tracks but the rest is pretty mediocre and not what most Reggae heads would have wanted to listen to in 1973. But it's a rare one for sure.
