Very interesting, TheDroid (I mean, seriously!!) I haven't run across any of those!! Now, I have a ton of albums with gold PROMOTION stamps on them (like the Soupy Sales "Still Soupy After All These Years" I posted yesterday), but the Sparks scan u posted was a treat!! And I've been a Sparks fan since I saw them on "ABC's In Concert" way back in 1974!! Anyways, thanx 4 the post!! ☺
@edlongus - the information sheet image I added is not a different lyric sheet insert, rather these would wrap around the sealed album with the typed information side partially covering/obscuring the back cover of the album. There would be a blank white extra portion that was folded and usually inserted into the album opening. There were quite a few of these in the early 1970's and Warner Bros. seems to have been the predominent user of them.
Back cover scan. label scans and folded lyric sheet scan added. My (almost) album-size folded lyric sheet is very different than what TheDroid posted (which I have never seen before, thanx, TheDroid!!)...
