Notes

Dolly MacMahon, vocals; Denis Murphy, fiddle; Paddy Moloney, Uilleann pipes, tin whistle; Michael Tubridy, flute, concertina.

Recorded by Gene Martin of Peter Hunt Studios, Dublin, for Claddagh Records Ltd. Paddy Moloney's flat pitched pipes were kindly lent by Dan Dowd.

Despite being shown as Dolly MacMahon on the cover, all other reference to Dolly McMahon seems to be spelled McMahon and this was certainly the case with both of her singles on Major Minor in 1967 See here...

Despite there being some controversy on the original date of release both the original issue and much later issue both confirm the 1966 date.

A more modern-looking, purple label uploaded. A lovely album.

These labels with dark colours and reflective (gold or silver) ink, make it very difficult to photograph. My second attempt seems to have shown the track listings much better and leaves no doubt about the actual original publication date of 1966.
