fixbutte 6th Aug 2014		Interestingly, the first track (A1) has been incorrectly titled on nearly all record labels for decades, from the third commercial release early in the 1960s on to the vinyl issue in 2001, as "She's No Good". It wasn't always so, however, as the first commercial release (with the "6-eye" design, mono and stereo versions) and the second commercial mono release (with the "2-eye" design and the first track listed above the center hole) had it correctly titled "You're No Good", as on the album cover. See Searching For A Gem for the whole story. Some more from the same site, referring to the stereo version: The first track, "You're No Good" by Jesse Fuller, is listed correctly on the front and rear sleeves but is mistitled as "She's No Good" on the labels of many releases. There is some debate about this since Jesse Fuller's own version is actually called "Crazy About A Woman"! It's possible that the song title was changed on the labels after 1963 to avoid confusion with the unrelated song "You're No Good" by Clint Ballard Jr., originally recorded by Dee Dee Warwick, that was a hit for Betty Everett in 1963 (and eventually a US #1 hit for Linda Ronstadt in 1975). (It was also a hit in the UK in 1964 for The Swinging Blue Jeans.)



Bill Fick 6th Aug 2014		First pressing label was the black/red "6-eye" label, very hard to find on that label. Columbia was on the process of changing to the red "2-eye" label at the time.
