In case anyone didn't realise... the composer credits for 'G. Clark' and 'H. Clark' are the same person. Gene Clark's birth name was 'Harold Eugene Clark'.

Switched around the order of {Images #1026029 & 1026030} (which had 'NONBREAKABLE' below the cat. #) and {Images #915967 & 915968} (which didn't). The former was pressed some time between January and October 1966 (after which the label backdrop used improved somewhat in appearance compared to this), the latter between April and September 1967.

I hear Country Joe McDonald wanted to use the Fish-Eye but his band refused so the idea floundered.

Who was the first to use this device for a cover design?

a few have over the years... The Rolling Stones (Big Hits), and later Oasis I believe.

Something very Fish-Eye going on here!

Added front and back cover images. Although the front cover and spine of the album cover has PC 9172 stickers over the CS 9172 catalog number, the labels with this copy have catalog number CS 9172 and are identical to {Image #724639 & 724640}.

I believe this is from the 1971 reissue releases from Columbia.
