Notes

NB - the US issue omits one track "The Carnival Is Over"

This is the first disc of 33 rpm that was issued by means of the Deram label of the United States and was the second disc of 33 rpm that was released by means of the Deram label of the United Kingdom. Chim Kothari plays all these 12 tunes by means of a sitar, which is a common instrument of India. This musical device is similar to that of the guitar that is used in many countries. With the exception of the compositons of Barsaat (Rain) and Bhigmangon Ka Mela (Beggar's Festival), both of which Mr. Kothar, he strumentally plays the ten other tunes of which he did not compose that were popular in the United States and/or the United Kingdom within the past two years. Additionally You Don't Have To Say That You Love Me, which was internationally popularized by Dusty Springfield, was originally composed in italiano. All the tunes of this disc were recorded in and issued in the United Kingdom of 1966.
