Notes

This Moody Blues disc of 33.33 rpm is in an unusual way based on the average individual who wakes up in the morning and goes to sleep at night. During both tunes of The Morning and Nights In White Satin, Mike Pender speaks as if he were teaching a meditation class. The first five lines of The Morning and the final five lines of Nights are spoken before the first tune starts and after the final tune ends, whereas the rest of the lines are spoken only one time in either The Morning or Nights In White Satin.

Redwave refers to all the members of the Moody Blues whereas Knight refers to Peter Knight who was a professional coductor and bandleader. The Moody Blues were inspired by the type of music that Mr. Knight had conducted, so, this group used the London Symphony Orchestra Music before and after each tune. The only exception to this rule is that no symphony orchestra music is played before Tuesday Afternoon. Also, this was the first disc of 33.33 rpm of the Moody Blues of which Justin Hayward was the lead vocal of some of these tunes.

Although The Days Of Future Passed disc was monaurally and sterofonically issued in both the United Kingdom and the United States, this disc was not monaurally issued in Canada due to the fact that only the stereo catalog # (Deram DES-18012) was indicated near the bottom of the reverse jacket. The only other difference between the United States and the Canada liner notes of the reverse jacket side was that the copyright of this Canadian-issued record was property of that of the London Records of Canada, Ltd., whereas the copyright of the US reverse jacket was credited to Exclusive U.S. Agents, London Records, Inc. at 539 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001.

With respect to scaccolarski added clearer sleeve scans and alternative label scans - more orange than red.
