edlongus SUBS ● 22nd Nov 2022		Another set of label variant scans added with "© Dunhill Records, Inc. MCMLXXI" at the bottom. My copy also has the fancy banners in the A/B side dead wax that say, "DS 50089 A RE-2" and "DS 50089 B RE-2", respectively.

Vinyl Fan ● 29th Apr 2018		Added Monarch label scans with the a triangle symbol and numbers 15356 side 1 and 15356X side 2 fmc. On my copy the side 2 small banner reads KOCBHBEA.



TheDroid 25th Apr 2017		Great album by an underrated artist. This also has the most interesting deadwax inscriptions I have ever seen. Side one has a very elaborate banner drawn with the words "Recorded At Home" inside the banner. Side two has a small banner with "HBCBKOER??" written inside it. Both sides have additional small banners with the catalog number in them. Additionally "10-21-70" is hand etched on each side. I was unable to get a satisfactory scan of these to put up here, perhaps I'll revisit this later and try again. As to the "Recorded At Home" inscription: At the time of this records release recordings on major labels had be recorded in proper studios due to union rules. A home recording could not be mentioned on the cover because of this. Is there anyone knowledgeable about this that can confirm, or clarify this? Finally, does anyone have a clue what "HBCBKOER??" means? Apparently there is also another variation that has "KOOBHBER?. Whew! (I love record collecting!)
