Added cleaner front cover image with a nod to original uploader 45stalker. Also added back cover, gatefold, insert and label images. The gatefold features the "Dick mobile created and built by Steven Hastings Paige" (as noted on bottom right of gatefold) parked alongside the Hollywood Walk Of Fame somewhere in Los Angeles. A truly unusual and bizarre packaging for Steppenwolf with a concept album regarding feminism that was often criticized as being sexist.
The album did spawn two singles that fell just short of the Top 40.
"Ride With Me" peaked at #52 on Billboard Hot 100. Initially it was released with a non-album B-side "For Madmen Only" http://www.45cat.com/record/d4283us which was replaced with alternate B-side "Black Pit" http://www.45cat.com/record/d4283. The original B-side was almost nine minutes long and apparently highly disliked by jukebox programmers.
"For Ladies Only" climbed to #64 on BB chart.
The album itself reached a respectable #54 on Billboard album chart.
