| | It was first issued commercially as a box set. Later pressings were issued as shown here. This is why there is nothing shown in the gatefold. Here's a photo of the box from Discogs:

| | Where does the box set figure in the release history of this album? I don't recall ever seeing one, and I always thought the double gatefold with cutouts to be first issue. Was there a kit in a box for promotional purposes? |

| | Re Break in Master / PhilMH; I think October 1970 has little or nothing to do with release date - more likely when art work and booklet layout completed.
I was thinking release for Xmas 1970 or even late as Easter '71 in some countries.... Relevance!
It was a slow burner, not charting in UK till Feb 1972, though I have just checked and must admit US chart entry paved the way in Nov 1970! |

| | Added cleaner front cover with acknowledgement of original uploader Trainman. Also added back cover and several pages from the original 26 page booklet (12" tall by 6" wide) that came in album (Only the lyric pages are not included in the scans). Original issue has a textured cover and the gatefold may be either solid brown or have cut-outs for the labels to show through. Inner sleeves are a blank tan color on original pressings. There is also issues using standard Decca labels instead of the custom labels. |

PhilMH 17th Apr 2017
| | Reviewed in Billboard November 14th.1970. The booklet with my Australian copy says October 1970, which most likely was copied verbatim from the UK booklet, and given Billboard's lead time (the issue was probably available a week before the cover date), then October could well be the US release month too. |
