Pinpointing the month of release of L.P.'s is not always easy, but I would say that Nov. 1965 is likely as "Keep on Dancing" had crept onto two local charts as follows:
WPLO 590 AM - Atlanta - Nov. 19, 1965 WAVZ 1300 AM - New Haven, Conn. - Nov. 27, 1965
Also, the L.P. also gets a "spot" in R.W. on p. 32 of the Nov. 27, 1965 issue re booming M.G.M. sales.

"Keep On Dancing" reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is interesting to note that it is actually quite short and had to be repeated to stretch it out to its' 2:08 length. The last thirty seconds or so after the fade is actually the start of the song repeated.
"Spread It On Thick" climbed to #50 on the BB chart while its' flip side "Brown Paper Sack" bubbled under at #101. It's funny that I remember hearing the flip side in Minneapolis as a young boy, but not the A side.
