23skidoo 9th Aug 2018		This one is considered a bit of a Holy Grail for Haley collectors as versions on Somerset, etc., as well as Quality in Canada are far more common. I've been a Haley collector for 35 years and have never encountered a copy of the Essex version in person (and they cost a fortune or order online). A bit of odd irony here: for some reason in 1957 the photo of Haley used on the sleeve rear would be reused for the picture sleeve of the Decca single "Mary, Mary Lou" (http://www.45cat.com/record/930530) at a time when Haley was at odds with Essex over them reissuing his older material (leading to, among other things, Haley re-recording Rock the Joint for Decca in 1957 to head off an Essex reissue of the 1952 version).
