Notes

A4 title is correct: it is named in honor of Bill Haley Fan Club president Hugh McCallum.

Several tracks later reissued (some with new titles) on Guest Star LP GS1499 credited to "Scott Gregory".

A few more thing learned recently: Don't Mess Around and The Wobble were covers of singles originally recorded by the Orioles. I don't know if any of the others originated from elsewhere other than the well known tracks at the start; "Hugh" is an original instrumental the group also recorded for Orfeon in Mexico around the same time.

One dubious superlative for this album is it was the last time Haley released a full-length studio (as opposed to live) album specifically for the American market, on an American label. The albums that followed included a few more releases recorded in Mexico for the Orfeon label, and then from 1968 until his final album in 1979, he recorded for the European-based Sonet label; although nearly all of his studio recordings for Sonet from 1970 onwards were actually recorded in the U.S., they primarily received European release, with US labels such as Janus, Sun and GNP Crescendo later reissuing them, and as far as I'm aware his final Sonet album never got a US release at all.

I recently obtained a copy of this and can confirm there are no songwriter credits. Nor is there a release date on sleeve or label, however I obtained this information from another source.
