make1968 28th Mar 2017		Anyway, seems that only the 3rd part of the Bluejean Bop EP, here, was issued in Australia, and together with this LP they contain the complete set of 12 tracks.



make1968 2nd Mar 2017		No, I don't know why only 8 tracks, could just try to guess, and I am not aware of the tax issues... In the late 50's - early 60's the 10" albums released in Japan had 8 titles as well. Compilation albums usually had 10 tracks. Just to make a loud-sounding deep groove for old-style needles, could that have been the reason?



Lee Wrecker 20th Feb 2017		It would be a very short album then make1968. You wouldn't happen to know why the 4 were omitted would you? Did we have a 331/3 tax on imported rock 'n' roll at the time?



make1968 15th Jan 2016		Compared to other "Bluejean Bop" albums this is not exactly the same issue, omitting 4 titles: 1) I Flipped, 2) Waltz Of The Wind, 3) Jump Back Honey Jump Back and 4) Peg O' My Heart.
