 Hi 78rpm-maniac,
please read the standard-publication about the german LONDON-Label (LONDON-LABEL-LEXIKON by R. Bloemeke, H.-G. Hartig, U. Schlieck, R. Weize, publ. 2014 by BEAR FAMILY RECORDS). On page 186 you´ll find the detailed explanation why the red labels are pressings for the PX-shops.

 Hi, nice old German London-LPs.
But, are you shure with the hyphothesis of the PX-Pressings. The PX-records in Germany for the US-Soldiers have a square red-coloured price-stamp on the backcover in US-Dollar currency.
I have some old Pat Boone Records with the maroon-label-style, but not that PX-Price-Stamps on it.
My opinion, the maroon-label-editions are the very first pressings in Germany and the black-golden Label-Editions are second editions.
