A full page column ad in the 18 December 1976 issue of Melody Maker (now uploaded) says that this album is "available again", same sleeve and with both Cube and Decca logos shown in the advertisement.

As said by Gian, the title is Give Gave IT A Try

B3 track title appears on this page as both "Give It A Try" and "Gave It A Try". It's either/or across all the linked pages and even the CD release at the bottom of this page.

Release date of November 3rd 1972 on the basis of a test-pressing acetate which gave the date of album release. Trident Studios, Wardour St. London.

I've added a little collage of back cover details, different from the main cover shown here, on my gatefold edition. The second catalogue number is obviously mis-typed, the good one is on the labels

This has one stand-out track for me because of its emotional strength: It Could Have Been Better

Joan's opinion of Cube Records, as stated I-don't-remember-where many moons ago:

"They were useless! I mean, I wasn't looking to sell a million or anything, but it would have been nice to sell one or two!".

One of my favourite albums of all time. Not a bad track and beautiful sensitive singing and instrumentation. A perfect album!

If it is on the same label (even if the design of the label is different) and if it has the same catalogue number, then it should go here. If the label or the cat number has changed, it needs a separate entry.

Well, still don't understand if a different release like mine (diff. cover and labels) should be added here or as a different entry

There are some comments about this on 45cat. See for example http://www.45cat.com/record/bug77&rc=13603#13603

It would be nice to see some images of your copy if you can add them

I own a gatefold issue of this LP, always on Cube, with no Decca address or Pye distribution writing on the back cover... any clue?
