Back page ad from Melody Maker issue dated 7 November 1970 now added, which suggests that the LP came out around that time. Checking up on a 1970 calendar, the release date of 23 November seems unlikely (in the UK at least) as it was a Monday whereas generally records came out on a Friday didn't they?

"The Great Rock Discography" shows a UK release date of November 1970 as well as the liner notes in "The Very Best of Cat Stevens".
I'm gonna change it but I'm gonna leave the day of release blank as I don't really trust Wikipedia's accuracy on release dates.

Wikipedia (if it can be trusted) says it was released on 23rd November 1970, having been recorded May-July 1970 in Morgan, Island and Olympic Studios, London

12 January 1970? It was recorded in Summer '70 (so it's written on the deluxe 2cd reissue)
