Notes EMI BRIGADIERS S.A. Pty Ltd release MGM label EMI Brigadiers SA Pty Ltd were the original MGM licensees in South Africa. The above is the full company name, although labels and liner usually credit manufacture to EMI (South Africa) (Pty.) Ltd. Albums produced by the company were assigned a "JC" prefix, not unlike that of "MC" found in New Zealand. Promo copies of albums have YELLOW/BLACK labels, marked "Promotional Copy - Not For Sale". However, a special WHITE/BLACK label is also known to exist. Marked "SALE PROHIBITED", the label also states, in block capital letters, "THIS RECORD IS ON LOAN AND THE PROPERTY OF E.M.I. (South Africa) (Pty.) Ltd." It is assumed this may be either a radio station or library copy. Same content and album design as USA LP MGM E 3761. Images
