guineapig 23rd Aug 2014		To An6y66 The label just says JETDP 400.Perhaps the model spaceship was a limited issue within the special edition. I can't remember now which year I bought it. I've just noticed that my labels are different to yours as I do not have "Made in England" underneath "Distributed by CBS Records" on mine.



An6y66 13th Aug 2014		The layout of the first set of labels numbers 8089, 8091, 8092, 8093 are the earliest labels of this CBS pressed release i think (they are darker than the ones I uploaded 17934....) Its not the first release of it though as that was the one pressed by united artists here also can't see very clearly from your image but i think your sleeve is the earlier UA pressing, it it UAS and a number in the top hand coner on the back or JETDP ?



guineapig 13th Aug 2014		Added some images. Shiny surface reflection on some. I must have a later issue as I never had the model spaceship. Mine are translucent blue with"ALLEN" written in the run-off. Don't know how to identify which issue I have.



An6y66 3rd Aug 2014		recently sold copy on eBay came witht the blue outer case i've just uploaded, the seller said this was a promotional package, containing the blue vinyl version of the lp and all the cut outs etc. but came in this case giving a box set appearance. The case is promoting Artic Light lager. I've never heard of this and can't find any other mention of the lp ever being released like this. Anyone got any more info?

An6y66 23rd Oct 2013		added black vinyl copy with variant label. Also sleeve made by CBS this has a much larger Jet logo than the UA sleeves. My copy of this on blue vinyl has the jetdp labels as above but is in a UA sleeve. Is it possible that CBS records were sold in UA sleeves or has this just been mixed up in a record shop at some point?



An6y66 8th Oct 2013		Well it turns out I only have one copy on blue vinyl but, have found I have UK and USA label variations that need uploading. I'll also upload images of the cut outs and poster when I get a chance



An6y66 6th Oct 2013		Yeah that does sound familiar. I have loads of different copies of this lp so I'll have a look and see if any of mine are different shades of blue.



TopPopper 6th Oct 2013		I think there are two versions of the blue vinyl edition, one with opaque vinyl, the other with translucent.



harrisgame 13th Sep 2013		This one JETDP 400 are a blue vinyl reissue in 1978 by CBS also the other 4 colored vinyl (On the third day, clear vinyl)(Eldorado, yellow vinyl)(A New World Record, red vinyl)(face the Musi, green vinyl) are reissue same year, 1978 Jet UAR 100 is released 10/77
