23skidoo 3rd Aug 2014		One of the most bizarre records in the Bill Haley canon. It is disputed that he ever actually "produced" anything beyond posing for pictures in the recording studio and writing a note for the back cover. The fact the label gives a different title for the album suggests his involvement might have been a last-minute thing to tie in with his then-current tour of Brazil. Lee Jackson was the name of the band, not an individual singer, based in Brazil who performed in a style called Rock-Samba which was seen as being as innovative in its mix of samba and rock and roll as Haley's mix of country western and rhythm and blues was in the 1950s.
