MGM label - MONO 12" "LL 5000" Series

[Unauthorized / bootleg / illegal]

The above entry is one of the most confusing to have been marketed by Nippon Columbia, and is believed to be the only album to feature a catalog number with an "LL" prefix. All other mono issues appeared with:

- "ZL" to denote a 10" edition
- "SL" to denote a 12" edition
- "LL" reserved for single-play releases

Causing further confusion is the illegal nature of the release, and the fact that not only does it share the same title as an earlier 10" album, but has an identical "5013' catalog number!

Same content and album cover as USA LP MATI-MOR 8002.

The above album is the same compilation as the Brylcream-sponsored Mati-Mor label edition issued in the USA by General Harmonics & Video Corp. It was illegally marketed on the MGM label by Nippon Columbia and, after a limited period on sale, all stocks were withdrawn and destroyed.
