Has a matrix in the run-out scratched out 'TBL-120' which incidentally is also the cat number of a Tighten Up reissue.

Just gave this another spin (well, it's only been 30+ years.....).

So, this is Lloyd Charmers/Terrell and the Dynamites, the same band who backed Clancy Eccles amongst other producers. They're clearly not the UK outfit that recorded 'I Got It' for Trojan, but I imagine the name was chosen as it sounded slightly risque and appropriate for this set.

All the tracks were clearly recorded at the same session with the exception of 'Birth Control', which is the same cut as the Pama 45 (PM 792). Some of the titles have been given new names: 'Fat Fat Girl' (the Heptones' 'Fatty Fatty') and 'I Love You Fatty' (Clancy Eccles' 'Fatty Fatty'). On 'Open Up', the Dynamites/Lowbites must have recorded almost exactly the same backing as they provided for Clancy Eccles' Clandisc original.

My copy is on a smooth (i.e. non-textured) cream coloured label with blue writing. Trojan did seem to alternate between smooth and textured labels for some reason.

This was given a repress at some point between the late `70s and late `80s - no idea whether it was via Trojan. Daddy Kool was selling them certainly (the sleeves were original laminated) and the vinyl looked like a much more modern pressing than these. Could have been from Lloyd Charmers himself. I bought one and moved it on when I got an original (in fact I now have two!).

I believe so, it's part of the Trojan discography in the back of the "Young, Gifted And Black: The Story Of Trojan Records" book by Michael de Koningh and Laurence Cane-Honeysett at least.
And according to Discogs it has a TBL matrix (I haven't checked that)

 Is this part of Trojan?

 Wasn't this issued in 1970?
