Vinyl Album
Notes This is the second disc of 33.33 rpm that was issued after Elvis was discharged from the U.S. Armed Forces in March 1960, and was also the second LP of Elvis Presley that was both monaurally and stereofonically issued. Furthermore, the G. I. Blues was a motion picture that was based on the time that Mr. Presley had served in the Armed Forces from 1958 to 1960. The tune "Wooden Heart" was originally called "Muss I Den" simply because this tune was written in German. Even though Muss I Den is not mentioned neither by means of the reverse jacket nor by means of the label disc, Elvis does utter Muss I Den and a few German phrases during the Wooden Heart song. Consequently, when Wooden Heart was issued by means of a disc of 45 rpm, the original title "Muss I Den" was indicated next to "Wooden Heart."
