albert 6th Jun 2018		We certainly have been paying for the same things over and over after Marc's tragic death. However search around for 20th Century Boy - a wonderful triple LP of all the rarities and non-LP songs which was released in Australia in the 1980s and that covers every rarity released in Marc's lifetime. Some of us lucky people managed to get hold of a copy on import.



Monolith 22nd Sep 2015		Well into the 70s Mr Bolan released non album singles, Ride A White Swan, Hot Love, Children Of The Revolution, Solid Gold Easy Action, 20th Century Boy, The Groover, Truck On (Tyke), Laser Love, London Boys & B-Sides, Free Angel, Sitting Here, Midnight and quite a few more. I had read that he didn't want the kids paying twice for the same thing.



Magic Marmalade 22nd Sep 2015		Ah, that's probably why those Tyrexasuarus Ran Regal singles fetch a coupla bob... as I couldn't see Pewter Suitor, or One Inch Rock on these regal albums either. Dubbery- Dub - a - Dubbery - Dub - a - Dubbery - Dub - Aaaaaaaah - Debora ....



ppint. 22nd Sep 2015		mmarmmelade: there was a yuk record, distributors'n'retailers industry-wide "trade wisdom" that british record-buyers resented buying the same tracks on the lp, as they'd already bought on the single. not all record corpses' manglements believed this, but an awful lot - evidently including the essex muusic/regal zonophone lot - did: see also the yuk version of procol harum's first lp. (- why it should apply to the a-side, and - frequently - not to the track on t'other side, this deponent knoweth not; maybe it was also believed that singles-buyers never played the flip-side?)



Magic Marmalade 22nd Sep 2015		I notice Debora is not on this, but the B- side of that single is: Child Star... and it doesn't appear on any of the Regal albums. Anyone know why that is?
