BenLPMarts 28th Jul 2024		OK so this film premiered in Italy 12.18.63 and USA 3.18.64 [as per wiki]. BUT both BB & CB run LP reviews 11 April 64 [BB pg 98; CB pg 22 (actual pg 58)]. So the music was all done in 1963 but I bet you couldn't buy an LP until 7 Apr 64. I haven't checked for global release but I bet Hollywood back then liked to roll out a film in the US and then other countries after. Full-page advert CB 11 Apr 64 pg 13 [also their Movie & Stage special issue which also had a story on Mancini].



LouisSidney 4th Dec 2020		"Sellers" refers to Peter Sellers, 23skidoo? Brilliant! You've just won the Clouseau Medal for Best Sleuth of 2020.



23skidoo 23rd Nov 2020		Gotta love the fourth wall-breaking on some of the track titles: Something for Sellers obviously references the film's star, Peter Sellers, and Shades of Sennett reflects the Mack Sennett comedies-style chase in the film.
