At the time of this release, 20 years had passed since Connie Francis left MGM Records and these sessions were recorded, her recording career had been spasmodic. It had consisted, in the main, of a handful of singles, vocal overdubs and a brief, albeit prolific, association with the British arm of United Artists Records. While these accounted for a sizeable number of recording in themselves, less than dozen actually recorded during those two decades were released in the USA. Connie's one-off association with Malaco resulted in 24 titles, of which 18 were new recordings of titles originally cut for MGM.
All tracks were recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama in May 1989.
This album was simultaneously issued on MC MALC 2003 and CD MAL 2003 CD.
The "*" symbol appearing directly after a track title denotes a song "not" previously recorded by Connie prior to these sessions. All others, with the exception of A3: CRY, were original MGM chart entries.
