lodekka 8th Jun 2023		Part of the 1983 reissue of the six main T. Rex label albums, in gatefold sleeve with lyrics on inner sleeves. Reissued in July 1985 with free 12" single containing "A" & "B" sides of singles released in the year of the album. This should have been Cat No. MARCL 506 to follow correct order of release of the original albums but this was allocated to the following Futuristic Dragon release. MARCL 506 has been scratched through in the run-off grooves and replaced with MARCL 507. This was again reissued in 1989 with black labels and the correct MARCL 506 Cat No. and P. 1989 on labels and sleeve with new address for the Fan Club but excluding the free 12".



lodekka 7th Jun 2023		The bonus 12" disc 12 MARCL 507F should be with the Futuristic Dragon issue MARC 506, a different bonus disc was issued with this one (12 MARCL 506F) containing the singles from the year of the albums original release. 'Dragon' has MARCL 507 with the 7 scratched out and changed to a 6! Somebody got their wires crossed at the pressing plant. It was corrected for the 1989 reissues so that the releases ran in the correct chronological order. Correction submitted to the Mods.



OldMod67 18th Mar 2021		My rubbish photos don't really show up too well, but the L.P. labels are pale blue, the bonus 12" labels white.



OldMod67 22nd Sep 2020		Belatedly added the bonus disc. 12" single at 45 rpm. Credited artist is Marc Bolan, although the Marc Bolan & T.Rex logo appears also. I bought this in the mid eighties in a shop near Soho market and for years presumed I'd been given the wrong bonus disc from the shop's masterbag; this was because the 12" label states ' Issued free with Futuristic Dragon'. That album had a 506 cat.no.and upon closer inspection of the Zip Gun run out, I note the following: MARC L 506 A1 and B1, but the 6 is scratched out and replaced with a 7! Other run out detail A: BILBO TAPE ONe DAMONT MT 1 B: BILBO TAPE ONe DAMONT MT 1 PLUS: 12" A: BILBO TAPE ONe MARC L - 507 - A1 F B: BILBO TAPE ONe MARC L - 507 - B1 F Gatefold sleeve with lyrics.



OldMod67 21st Jan 2017		I picked this re-packaged LP up in Soho around 1985, in a gatefold sleeve,the other side of which contained a bonus 12" single. The rear sleeve had a shot of Marc in his robes, sat on an old Lambretta. I've seen two other pics from this session, but always wondered when it was shot; any Bolan experts out there have any idea please?
