Why didn't capitol use the UK mono mix (if it existed)... oh, I forgot, Capitol A&R did their own thing, for good or ill. Anyway good to see it used, and we all did similar things at that age.
After seeing the movie a bunch of times when I was just 5 years old, having made every single adult in the family take me; I threw a bad tantrum begging my dad to go get this album. It was pouring badly that day but because of my fit and bawling, the poor guy gave in and drove me to go get my copy. I walked around the house with this album as a comforting blanket (like Linus Van Pelt of the Peanuts characters) for the longest time and played it on a kiddie record player till there was no more grooves left. My original cover is all torn, I read that a sealed original one is inexistent because everyone opened their copy to look inside the gatefold pics. I shouldn't be telling this anecdote being that I didn't behave very well, it served as an amusing story in my family forever. But it's more of a confession of how these guys had a severe impact, effect on the world regardless of age, gender, culture, creed etc.... "And now you know the Rest of The Story" ( Paul Harvey)
