PhilMH ● 19th Nov 2021		"You Don't Say" was recorded in February 1958, but didn't appear on a Platters release until 1961, as the B-side of Mercury 71847 It was also going to be on a Platters album MG-20541 that ultimately was cancelled, that catalogue number being reassigned to the various artists album ANOTHER COLLECTION OF GOLDEN HITS (which includes three Platters tracks, but not that one).



caseellerbroek SUBS 19th Nov 2021		Where does the Platters “You don’t say” fit into their discography. Doesn’t appear on any of the their other LPs.



23skidoo 11th Sep 2014		I have the American pressing of this. It is identical except for the label, which is blue. Not sure whether i should create a separate listing since the cat# and label is the same.
