Excluding promo albums and those manufactured by MGM and POLYDOR for record clubs, this album is the FOURTH pressing assigned the catalog number SE 4167 but the first to appear on the POLYDOR label.

With the reissue of THE VERY BEST OF CONNIE FRANCIS, PolyGram then reverted to its policy of issuing all popular material on the Polydor label, commencing with the re-pressing of MGM-1-5410 CONNIE'S GREATREST HITS and MGM-1-5411 CONNIE'S GREATEST JEWISH HITS. The numerical sequence of product during this time period is, at best, confusing.

These were the last U.S. releases to retain any numerical link with the original MGM E/SE series. From 1984, PolyGram introduced its new international seven figure coding and discontinued the separate assignment of local catalog numbers in the U.S.A.
