The above release is an extraordinarily mixed version of THE VERY BEST OF CONNIE FRANCIS CONNIE'S 15 BIGGEST HITS! which, though featuring the same 15 vocal performances as USA LP MGM SE 4167, reproduces them in a monaural form that would appear to have used one stereo channel as its source. All tracks have inferior sound quality to original releases, the most glaring differences being the lack of backing vocals to EVERYBODY'S SOMEBODY'S FOOL, LIPSTICK ON YOUR COLLAR, WHERE THE BOYS ARE and FRANKIE, and the imbalance created by single-channeled reproduction of VACATION and MY HEART HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN.

Album sleeve retains original charcoal sketch design but with cream background replaced by red; album title highlighted in white and original brown letter song listing reproduced in black. Original liner artwork has been adjusted to accommodate the Polystar logo, highlighting the TV promotion nature of this release. Liner erroneously credits previous compilation release to PD-1-4168 instead of PD-1-4167. This album is the FOURTH Polydor edition and EIGHT overall.
