| | OK - one more question. I've been listening to Love Me Do, the first track on LP 1 of Mono Masters and after the harmonica solo, and then into the second line of the verse the track appears to slow down. Tried it on two different decks and there is a definite change in speed.
Anyone else noticed this? |

| | Just bought this set new yesterday but need to ask a question to any of the other owners. All the albums are almost identical to the original UK issues apart from Sgt. Peppers which has the USA Capitol labels. Are any of yours the same? Mine are pressed in Germany, dated also 2014.
Made in E.U. printed on each label. As the one listed here says country "UK" presumable mine would be a separate entry.
Barcode is 5099963379716 (with an extra "7")
Answered my own question - if I'd bothered to read the note inside the sleeve. |

| | What was it Han Solo Said to Luke Skywalker?
... "great kid, Don't get cocky!"
When I first saw your listing for this I was half expecting howls of complaint, and this page to become troll city....and I think it would have been on any other site, but we're among reasonable people here... some have spent whole afternoons scanning and listing box sets.

| | I think if they're available separately this should be fine. Given the size of the thing there's no need to duplicate work in this instance.
Re the images I do think we have to be careful but obviously if there were any objections from the copyright holders we could remove them without any great difficulty.
A cat no would be good though, if indeed the overall box has one (it should have??). |

| | I personally think it's OK to add this boxset like this. The LPs will be added individually, and this page can link to each of those individual LPs, without duplicating all the track listings again. And adding the occasional holding image isn't a big problem I think. |

| | If I might offer a suggestion then JPGR&B.... and a couple of observations in support of it:
Now that the box is listed with the intention that whoever purchases a copy should fill in the details, they will naturally search for the catalogue number and/or barcode, to see if it's already listed, and therefore, wether they should add it themselves or not...
If you could simply find either one one these details (preferably both), and just add those to this listing at least, then whoever does try to do so will not make the mistake of adding a separate, duplicate listing, but rather add their track-listings, scans etc. to this one, as you intended.
So just the catalogue number, and/or barcode (of the box) would avoid confusion. |

JPGR&B SUBS 19th Aug 2014
| | I acknowledge the first two photos are taken from the Intranet (The Beatles site I recall) but I thought they might do for the time being until someone has actually bought it and can load some images. If contributors object to that I'll delete the images.
The LPs will be available separately so we can link to these separate entries in due course, with the only scans here eventually needing to be scans of the box, booklet and any associated ephemera (such as the advert).
The third image is my scan from this month's Record Collector magazine. |

| | Far be it from me to make work for people.... But I'd say you've got quite a job for yourself here...
... Each album in the box will have it's own catalogue number, and each it's own track listing, and add in the book, that's a lot of scanning to do.
... and these pictures look a lot like the ones on Amazon. |
