Several tracks issued on singles in different combinations in few countries. No none album tracks. I have both of the two track UK singles, and I believe the LP only released in the US, alas also.
I agree, alas there should have been more from this potent group.
ReviewA wonderful album in a new wave/power pop vein. Really a shame that Peter Noone didn't continue down this road as there is great promise here. And some strong songwriting from Mr. Noone. The Tremblers were able to attract some excellent guest artists to the proceedings: Mike Campbell, Stan Lynch & Ron Blair from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Nigel Olsson from Elton John's band, Bill Pitcock IV from Dwight Twilley and Daryl Dragon from Captain & Tennille are among those making appearances here.
Many of the lyrics are quite humorous and the musicianship top rate. "You Can't Do That, Wouldn't I? and Dad Said" are stand-out tracks. The included insert has notes about each song written by Peter Noone. Quite entertaining to read. Sadly, the notes for the final song includes the line "this will all be explained in the next "Tremblers" album, which alas, was not to be.
